The Bloomington Community Band welcomes you!

New members are always welcome!

Anyone interested in playing with the group is encouraged to contact our Personnel Manager, Karen Smith, by e-mail or at 208 602 1643.

The band meets on Monday nights from 7-9pm at Saint Thomas Lutheran Church, East Third Street & Smith Road, Bloomington, Indiana. No auditions necessary. Just bring your instrument and we’ll make a spot for you!

The Bloomington Community Band exists:

  • to contribute positively to the musical literacy and musical environment of the community it serves, whether local or otherwise,
  • to provide opportunity and training for individual musical expression and growth among the membership,
  • to reaffirm the community concert band position in American music.
