The Bloomington Community Band, Bloomington Indiana, wishes to announce its search for Music Director.
THIS IS A VOLUNTARY POSITION.
The BCB is an all-volunteer ensemble of some 60 wind, brass and percussion players celebrating 33 continuous years of operation. Between Memorial Day and the December holidays, the BCB presents some 20 free concerts at many Bloomington civic and arts events as well as state parks and retirement centers. Membership is open to all adult musicians regardless of training or ability. There are no auditions. Participation is entirely at will, and no member is under any obligation to attend all rehearsals or performances. The band is seeking a music director who will inspire the musicians to grow artistically.
